Process Art & Picture Books: FLOWERS Complete Materials List

Materials We Used…

  1. Flowers – Any kind can work, try and get at least 3 flowers with a stem if possible. We used dandelions, tiny purple wildflowers, & 3 daffodils.
  2. Water
  3. Food Coloring (Red, Yellow, & Blue)
  4. An Ice Cube Tray
  5. Popsicle sticks – We used 7 sticks cut in half.
  6. Cardstock paper – You could use watercolor paper but it’s more expensive, or regular copy paper but it won’t be able to tolerate the watercolor as well.
  7. A Dropper
  8. Paint (Red, Yellow & Blue) – Any kind can work, we used tempera paint but in the past acrylic has worked just fine too.
  9. A Rolling Pin or Rubber Mallet
  10. Scissors
  11. A Stapler
  12. A Pencil
  13. Cornstarch (Optional)
